Privacy Policy

Registered psychologists and members of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) are bound by the Psychology Board of Australia’s registration standards and the APS code of ethics. We manage the collection of clients’ information in accordance with the legal requirements of the National Privacy Principles from the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.

Information is gathered as part of the initial assessment and documentation is used to guide case planning and treatment. All notes and client details are stored securely.

Clients may request to access any information held on file according to National Privacy Principles from the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000. An appointment would be scheduled to provide access and to clarify any details or discuss any concerns. A client may take a copy of the information if requested.
